Need help finding a Medicare plan? Choosing a plan is very important and can seem complicated but we are here to help you understand your options. We offer several types of Medicare plans such as Medicare Supplements, Medicare Advantage plans and Part D Prescription Drug plans. Your first step is to find out how these plans work with or replace traditional Medicare.
Part A – Part of original Medicare that covers inpatient hospital care, limited care in skilled nursing facilities, hospice care and some health care.
Part B – Part of original Medicare that covers medical services from doctors and other health care providers, outpatient care, home health care, durable medical equipment and some preventative services.
Part C – Medicare Advantage plans replace traditional Medicare with Insurance Carriers contracted with Medicare. They cover all your Part A and Part B benefits and can include other benefits such as Part D, prescription drug coverage, Dental, Vision and Hearing benefits along with gym membership. These plans use a regional network of providers.
Part D – Prescription drug plans are run by Medicare approved Insurance Carriers. Some Part D plans come automatically with Part C, Advantage plans, and some work separately with traditional Medicare as a standalone benefit.
